School’s In: 13 Quotes about Education

September is a month of beginnings for me. As a teacher, September’s arrival signals a whole new year, full of promise. To celebrate the start of school, I’ve collected 13 quotes about education, both positive and negative.

  1. I've always loved #12. My girls are noth in highschool, grades 9 & 10. I am thrilled they actually enjoy school and like all of their teachers this symester. It's so sad when they clash with a teacher on the first day.

    Calico Contemplations

  14. I never knew you were a teacher, Brenda. Or maybe I did... but right now, my brain is entirely focused on elementary school; I've spent three days this week (including tonight) up at our local schools, meeting the kids' teachers and hearing about the year ahead of them. I feel like I've got tunnel vision!

  15. Adelle,
It's wonderful when your kids like school.

    Hootin' Anni,

  34. Brenda - Thanks for stopping by my TT from last week 13 Ways to Waste time on the internet.

I like #4 a lot because it's true, plus teaching also requires that you keep current on a subject.

I'm also fond of #6 because this can also be true and #1 is just plain simple fact, lol!

Go take a look at my 2 retro school designs: I ♥ School and School Dazed design at The PopArtDiva Gift Gallery - you'll crack up, they show those 2 different opinions about school, lol!

  35. Pop Art Diva,
Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to come see your designs.

  36. I absolutely loved school, especially high school. I loved the learning although some teachers were pretty indifferent.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay on at school because my mum couldn't afford to keep me there.

However, I did go to uni as an the education I did get as a child came in handy.

  39. I saw a lot of website but I think this one contains something special in it in it Technical education

  40. If you are stuck, do not have any idea to write your thesis, then that is the right time for you to relax. Do not force yourself. Go out from your study room. For example, take some fresh air by walking at the seashore to release stress. After that, you will definitely get lots of ideas to write for your PhD Proposal thesis. Remember, do not feel guilty to relax and have fun during your PhD.
